Delivery route planner for independent pharmacies
Drop plans your delivery loop, puts it on your driver’s iPhone, and keeps a signature and a time-stamped photo for every bag handed over. It stores names and addresses to get the delivery there, and nothing about what’s in the bag.
A signature at every door
Set signature required as your pharmacy’s default, or mark it on the orders that need it. The driver sees the flag on the stop card, and the stop asks for a signature on the iPhone screen before it’s done. The signature is saved as captured, with the time and place, next to the delivery photo.
If a patient isn’t home, the driver taps Couldn’t deliver, picks a reason such as “Not home,” and takes a photo. The stop goes to the office’s exceptions list so someone can call and rebook.
The Tuesday loop, every Tuesday
Many pharmacies run the same loop each week: the assisted living home, the senior center, the regulars on the north side. Save that day as a recurring route and Drop creates it the day before, ready to adjust and send. Recurring routes are part of Drop 10.
For the rest of the day’s orders, paste them in or import a spreadsheet. Drop remembers your column layout, so the next import takes a moment. It plans around any time windows you set and the few minutes each handoff takes.
ID check, as a flag only
Some deliveries need the driver to check ID. Mark the order “ID check” and the driver sees it on the stop. Drop stores the flag and nothing else: there is no field for why, and Drop records no ID details.
What Drop stores, and what it doesn’t
- Drop stores what a delivery needs: the customer’s name, address, phone and email, a time window, and the proof of delivery.
- There are no fields for medications, conditions or prescriptions. Drop doesn’t ask for them and has nowhere to keep them.
- Order notes are for your driver. They are hidden from customer emails, tracking pages and proof pages.
Please don’t put medication names or health details in order notes. Drop is not designed to process protected health information (PHI), and we don’t offer a business associate agreement (BAA). Confirm with your own compliance advisor that your use of Drop fits your obligations before you start.
The data you put in is yours. You can export everything, every proof photo included, on any plan, and delete it any time. More in our Privacy Policy.
What patients receive
An email in your pharmacy’s name and colors when the driver is on the way, with an estimated window (for example, between 2:00 and 3:00) and a tracking link that shows how many stops away the driver is. After delivery, a short email with the time, the outcome and the delivery photo. Every email has an unsubscribe link.
What it costs
A pharmacy with one driver can start free, with up to 25 stops a day. With two or three drivers on the road on a given day, Drop 3 is $29 a month or $290 a year and keeps proof for2 years. Drop 10 at $49 a month adds the recurring Tuesday loop and starts with a14-day free trial. Compare every plan.
