Delivery routes for bakeries, meal prep and catering

Bread to the cafés before they open, meal boxes to the doorstep by lunch, trays to the office party by noon. Drop plans each run, sends it to your driver’s iPhone, and keeps a time-stamped photo of every drop.

The 6 a.m. wholesale run

Cafés, grocers and restaurants want their order before the doors open. Give each account its window, such as before 7:00, and Drop orders the route so the earliest openers come first. Set how many minutes each drop takes at the back door, and Drop plans around that too.

Your driver taps Start route and sees the next stop on the iPhone Lock Screen. One tap opens Apple Maps, Google Maps or Waze. Drop notices when the van arrives, so the stop card is already open when they walk in with the trays.

Cold chain and proof of the drop

Mark orders that must stay cold with the cold-chain flag, and fragile cakes as fragile. The driver sees the flags on the stop. At the door, two taps record the delivery: a photo stamped with the time and place, and a preset like “Handed to customer” or “Side door.”

When a café says the bread was late or the cooler was left outside, you have a documented, time-stamped photo of the drop. The original is kept with a fingerprint and is never edited. You can make a PDF of the proof for that stop and send it.

Monday to Friday, without retyping

Wholesale accounts rarely change. Save a day as a recurring route, every weekday or only Tuesdays and Thursdays, and Drop creates it the day before. Add the one-off orders on top, tap Send, and you’re done. Recurring routes are part of Drop 10.

Meal-prep orders come in as spreadsheets. Import the CSV and Drop remembers your columns. Orders that came in by email or text can be pasted as they are. Drop finds the names, addresses and phone numbers and flags any address it isn’t sure about, like an apartment without a unit number.

What your customers see

Home customers get an email in your name and colors when the driver is on the way, with an estimated window (such as between 11:00 and 12:00) and a tracking link. After delivery, a second email with the photo. Every email has an unsubscribe link.

What it costs

If you drive the route yourself, Drop is free for one driver and up to 25 stops a day. With up to three drivers out on a given day, Drop 3 is $29 a month or $290 a year, and adds proof PDFs and CSV exports. For recurring wholesale routes and van capacity, choose Drop 10 at $49 a month, with a14-day free trial. Compare every plan.
